I sent a message to this blog’s owner (who have already seen “Locked In“) asking about Sarah in the movie and here is what she answered:
First of all, thanks for taking the time to read my blog! I’m glad you enjoyed what you read.
Sorry I haven’t replied until now, but I’ve been in a hotel that has been in the middle of renovations and the internet cut out for about three days. Ahh!
Sarah Roemer gave a good performance. Since she wasn’t the protagonist, there weren’t as many deep scenes involving her, but the ones she acted in were very good. She was angry or sad for most of the movie, but she was very believable and had several good scenes where she had some intense outbursts. There’s a really good scene of her where she and Ben Barnes are recalling their college days and she gets a little wry and her character relaxes a bit more. There’s also a flashback scene where she’s in the tub (no you don’t get to see her naked) and Ben comes home and she outs him on his cheating on her that was memorable.
All in all, I don’t think you will be disappointed with her performance if you happen to see the movie when it comes out, although I can’t speak for the rest of the performances. 🙂
I’m happy for Sarah and even more excited to see this!
